@Afriman local Pings hitting 588ms Really?
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
We are seeing some improvements. Hard to expect no shaping taking place during peak times.
What's your after hours performance looking like?
Do I need to restart my router for it to sync higher or will it happen by itself?
HELPPPPP - my connection keeps dropping every 9-11mins what gives.... does a line fix but hasn't helped
Windows Phone app updates are completely broken now, large app downloads just continuously time out and small apps start but time out after less than 1MB. Updating via my 3G WiFi router is working fine.
It seems as if the reps aren't very active on the forum at this time, I would suggest all problems/queries be pointed towards live chat support or via social media. Remember that the social media team will also not be available for some time during the holidays.

It should be synced automatically. If you haven't seen a speed increase a reboot is always a good idea![]()
Sorry this is a bit off topic. Can someone pm me the afrihost news server details? My mweb is expiring end this month so won't be able to use their news server anymore.
I had rebooted and it didn't do anything. Live chat tried to up my sync yesterday but couldn't. Tried contacting today but had to leave a message.
Not great hearing this, is your account shaped at all?
Downloads were running at around 200kB/s early this morning when I tried this, round 1 am.
Currently they are running at 500kB/s and the app updates are still timing out
Strange that you're seeing issues here, those speeds should be more than enough for app updates.
App updates have been an issue for quite a while now.
Razer Synapse update on my PC which is connected via cable is also failing to complete downloading at the moment.
Hi AfriGuy, sent you a pm. Please respond when you have a moment. Tnx
