OK Afriguy you win - I admit I am too dumb to get it.......

I have asked this question 10 times and the standard PM answer is use the old CP, which does not help.

So I am going to re-write my query for the 11th time WITH PICTURES to see if you get this ....

1. I am on a 4Mbps standard uncapped - line with Telkom - see picture
View attachment 105480

2, I want to be on the bundled 4Mbps BUSINESS account for R797 - see picture
View attachment 105464

3. So if I firstly bundle as you suggest it costs R244,68 - see picture
View attachment 105466

4. (Now it gets tricky so try to stay with me) ....
Then I edit my account to business it costs R697.00 - see picture
View attachment 105470

5. Now this is a bit of higher grade stuff, try to keep up here ....
Line bundled costs (3) R244 + Business account costs (4) R697 = R941 (and 0,68c)
In other words - costs from picture 2 and picture 3 = R941

But the same thing in picture ah idiot 3 or point number 2. - the thing I want - is offered at R797.

So here is the riddle - the problem - the conundrum .......
How do I get THAT -(the thing in picture ah idiot 3 or point number 2.) without cancelling and rebuying a new package .... or paying more or getting the ''use the old CP'' standard answer ????

This will not help me (your second reply) for reasons above - see picture

And you have asked for my user name and that good stuff which I have given you - see picture
View attachment 105476
To which your answer was to use the CP which will cost more for the reasons above......

Please .... FFS!!! I CANNOT make it any clearer than this .....

You will have to pay the pro-rata fee for the more expensive business account, for the first month :) (which in your case in 200something)

Okay cool - go to your old clientzone (link at bottom of new CZ), and go to My products, my bundles on the left :) Then unbundle your current service and upgrade your uncapped account to business uncapped through the new clientzone. Once that is finished - go back to the old CZ, My Products, My Bundles and rebundle the new service :)

His line is with Telkom.

Aah I see - sorry I completely misread that! Then what he should do is sign up for a line, upgrade his uncapped account - then go into the old clientzone, products, bundles, and bundle it :)

So you can bundle a line before it's moved?

What beats me, they will still sign up new users irrespective of there current challengers such as severe shaping and insufficient capacity. Please stop signing up new users and make your current users suffer. Firstly get the new capacity then welcome new users onto your network, it's not only fair for current users but for new users as well by providing an optimal service which hasn't been happening for a while now. This is not right!! :( degrading a users line to 12.5 % or 6.5 % when he asked for a 1 Mb, 2 Mb, 4 Mb etc is not ethical and everyone suffers irrespective of not using your line for a week or two. Something has to be done soon, new prices is a good area to start with. Please stop saying ''Soon'' as well. Grrrrrr I'm not happy

Downloading an antivirus update @ 22KB/s
What is your line speed?
I assume 2Mbps?
If you get about 1.7Mbps on speedtest, you should get about 40kB/s.

But I already said that in my opinion those figures in the CZ are not correct, because on P2P I received 50% less on the 6.25% figure. I only received 10 - 13kB/s instead of 26kB/s on a 4Mbps line.

I'm working on figures achieved in speedtests.

killing me you cannot even download on a weekend -_-

12.5 http and 6.25 p2p..

Its on for probably 20 out of the 24 hours.

Getting ridiculous now...

You can change to a Capped account if you like, but seeing as browsing and other realtime services are slow for you may indicate a deeper issue here.
Have you run any troubleshooting on this yet? Shaping cannot affect realtime services.

Sorry for late reply, have had a really busy week at work. Yes, must be a deeper issue. Have lost my connection a couple times and web browsing and skype is incredibly poor. I don't have the option to test and tweak my line via afrihost control panel. Should I lodge a fault with telkom to check it out or is there anything else I can do first?
