Cool beans, keep me posted on how things go :)
Here we go again. I have a feeling this won't be fixed quickly. Nice network you got here Afrihost and it's also amazing how it's around the same time as yesterday.

Really sorry about this dude :( Not sure what's happening here.
Lemme chat to the team to see what's causing this high latency.

Eish, crazy bad latency all over and even the capped account is sluggish with no news server access ..... something broke just in time for when there's no staff again.

Something definitely went a little wonky. My reports showing latency rose just after 3pm and fluctuated for a bit but seems to be going back to normal now :(

I switched to that 10gb account I won last year and that never plays up but it is now. Don't suppose there's anyone around now to check on the news server huh.

Pinged afrihost.com As of this post pings are back to normal ~17ms.

We can definitely test from our side. If there is a problem with latency (still settling from spike earlier) then it may be affecting news service :(

Damn. I'm still on ADSL, and i'm still only getting 10Mbps. And now it's the weekend.

What do i have to do to get switched to VDSL here?

Are you definitely in an area that supports VDSL? Drop me a PM and I'll check if you're on an MSAN.

If I'm missing something and you're waiting for an upgrade, I'll also check what the hold up is :(

Awesome my uncapped account won't authenticate after loadshedding, Had to switch to my web africa free account, This is get really bad -_-

Their capped accounts are also not authenticating ...... probably find their 'top-of-the-line' data centers melted again

It looks like we're receiving a flood of incoming authentication requests, our Team is checking why authentication requests are not successful.
