It's not really a competition, i.e. there are no prizes. But I reckon paying 50c per GB is a pretty good prize in itself

I doubt we'll be offering prizes for now

So having a leaderboard is not a competition then? Guess I should tell everyone playing games with leaderboards there's no point to trying to beat other people's scores as there are no prizes.

I don't get why some users have the amazing speed downloads but others are on 5-15kb/s?

Its almost like users are being tiered like OW with their vanilla, gold, platinum etc? Are there food-chain priorities here or are the speed users circumventing QoS tables?

Something must have happened, http downloads reached 300kbps.

downloading bitcommet at 1,245 B/s :/ ok while i was typing that it bombed ... I think Afrihost needs to push HTTP based downloads slightly higher on the Qos scale
