I'm going to disconnect for s**s and giggles when I get home...
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
An issue at the data centre where our JHB IPC is located caused the IPC to temporarily go down, as we lost connectivity on the network. The IPC was immediately brought back up, but all the affected clients (in the Northern Region) were disconnected and then needed to re-authenticate. The flood of requests is massive, and we're trying to find ways to get them through more efficiently so every one can get back online.
You going to use it in Durbanville? Saw somewhere that is where it will appear. Seems more rich folk out there
.
+1, this is what I have come to expect from AH support, though my issues have all been billing queries and issues.OK , This is how not to do support
I am having crap with very high latency on my line. Both openweb and afrihost accounts.
After an email discussion between me and openweb they end off by saying I need to talk to telkom about the port/line.
Now my port and line are sitting with Afrihost so I send a mail with all the history between myself and openweb to afrihost support to open a ticket.
I get a reply back :
Please state your problem, because the line tests ok ...
AND HE HAS ALLREADY CLOSED THE TICKET AND ALL FURTHER MAILS IN REPLY ARE IGNORED.
Serious guys , I put my line with you guys for a reason so that I didnt need to talk to telkom as you supposedly had better skills and technical support than telkom.......
Ticket Ref : #DAR-593-55196
All this after all the mtn move crap just makes me wonder where the support has gone and why I didnt unbundle everything when I canceled my uncapped accounts.
