Hi Afriman,

https://clientzone.afrihost.com/get-...?src=homeslide regarding the special can one cancel before April (as not to get billed).

As I want to try out your network

Yeah afriman give us some answers :P

Afrihost's always worked such that your service ends in the month you cancel, as long as you do so before their billing run. So before the 25th you should be golden.

It's one of the many, many, many reasons that MWeb won't see a cent of mine again.

So i can buy it today and cancel it tomorrow , and i should be able to use the account for the rest of the month?

I signed up now , Website does say i can cancel before the 25th , so going to give it a bash

Ah you convinced me :D I am going to do the same. Will setup my Afrihost on another router and test for next couple of days.

As stated umpteen times did you PM Afriman with your query? I changed packages (Uncapped 2Mbs to 1Mbs) before the 20th it took effect immediately. I was upset! That is water under the bridge, long gone, So, I would not aswer your question........

hmmm Account is not connecting , so i have lost access to the home router, will have to see if it fixes by it self .

Says the person who got handed an alternative account by a good Samaritan hours earlier...   ;) :)

And yes, that's about the range of emotions I went through when I read that post.

I owe said good Samaritan a beer or few :)

It's starting to look like most clients are getting online, but there seems to still be issues getting everyone back online. We've got a team setup on conference with MTN, and we're doing everything possible to get everybody back to normal service.

If you're connected, please don't disconnect at this stage, since we're not sure how long it will take you to re-establish a session. There should be no throughput or latency issues while you're online, but rather stay connected in case it takes a long time to connect again.

Seems Eksdom are conspiring with Afrihost and MTN to ensure I get nothing done today - now it's a power failure. Hope the authentication issues are resolved by the time City Power pull finger... :(
