That is you, I was at 25%/6.5% Download is download whether http ftp or whatever.
 
Anyone else getting an authentication error?


Edit: Switching to an non afrihost backup account I was able to get this info.

Some clients are currently experiencing errors when trying to authenticate new ADSL sessions/connections. Our engineers are aware of the problem and are currently working towards resolving this urgently. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and we assure affected clients that resolving this is our top priority.


Good thing for back up accounts.

We've had some auth issues this afternoon, looks like we're busy sorting it out and it shouldn't be much longer. Will let everyone know as soon as the issue is fully resolved.
 
I have downloaded nearly 10gigs today on a 2mb. Because of that, I am being shaped to half my line speed. The whole of yesterday and today until 4am I was being heavily shaped. Yes, after midnight I was being shaped. This is unfair, there shouldn't be any shaping ever on weekends
 
I'm devil's advocate this weekend, I'm going to compare my experience with my week day (I was off Thursday and Friday). So far I've dloaded 3gigs since 1.30 (after auth. problems were fixed) - no shaping applied thus far. Please see attached
