To CPT is fine but Joburg, wow...

EDIT: I have not seen my upload speed greater than my download speed in a looooong time...

Hey! Something changed!

I seem to be loading 720p youtube again :D (Hopefully permanently now)

Im still struggling to watch a 5 minute Youtube clip in 320p. :-(

It stopped 4 times due to buffering.

10meg line, Plumstead Cape Town.

Connection seems better now. I was buffering on 144P and now everything seems fine again :D

Yea, uncapped is terrible the last 2-3 days. Horrendous international latency and everything just terribly slow. I've been playing online games on the account just fine, but it's unplayable the last few days.

Browsing etc is fine, gaming atm is lag heaven. im in jhb, switched to my WA backup account and gaming is fine again.

Youtube is buggered up since yesterday morning on AH, what a crap weekend. At least from CT. Now what bugs me is the Afrihost network status, 'network fully operational', fully operation 'se gat'. Afriman, let them wake-up and smell the rot. Acknowledge the error on the network status and post status updates.

Please log a ticket with AH. I'm still waiting for feedback on mine.

I see there's quite a few people still battling with YouTube and streaming. Am I right in saying this is Cape Town users, or are people experiencing the same issue in other parts of SA?

Please PM me traceroutes so I can see where the issue might be. :(

Yup, PE connects to Cape - Downloads are virtually dead too -HTTP - Youtube does not stream 720P at all.
Seems to be international?
