Ok well on a 10meg business line, with poor speeds all month, since the 1st till now (15 days aprox 50% of the month) I have used 52.743 gb according to their portal. Call it 53, so I guess I'm on path to use 106 odd per month. So yeah, guess the limit is lower than 100gb allowed per month on a business account.
Yeah sorry I was replying to someone saying it was low, I have no clue of the figure. Afrihost officially said it was like 320gb a few pages (hundreds of pages?) back, but I have no clue now.Lower than that. Earlier today a someone said that he phone afrihost and they told him he was throttled because of abuse. He said he did 27GB.

Clearly its throttling if 1mb = 30kB/s 2mb = 60kB/s and 4mb = 120kB/s from what ppl have posted.
Orly?

So I get full line speed on HTTP and just slightly lower on NNTP and Torrents, that's shaping.
I did 160GB last month and 90GB so far this month.
It's clearly not affecting everyone.
Are you on standard uncapped or business uncapped?
what area are you in?

u have got to be kidding
Well last night i gave the help centre a call (was at 0.1mb/s on a 10mb line) cause i wanted to put in some guild wars 2 time, after a considrable wait, i was told that it was my line and they will log a call with telkom, i told him this is not the case!
To prove it i bought a Openweb R29 1 GB capped, changed over and got full line speed (8.93 mb/s), don't
think the gentlemen was very happy with me
While i can understand they have issues, which i am somewhat patiently waiting for them to resolve, i really do miss IS ;(
