You can log a helpdesk ticket requesting if your account has been throttled From my understanding certain users are set as abusers and throttled. The criteria for this is uncertain and support give generic reasons when I asked them. I have done 40Gb this month, only 6gb past 10 days and I get the same speed of 7KBp as you. Others users get full speed so it seems it is not universal. Browsing and youtube is fine though.last time i checked, 92GB
anyone have a suggestion on a decent service? OpenWeb has a 1mb gold uncapped for 229/month. Any other deals worth considering?
Afrihost - how about moving back to your pre-MTN account. Couldn't possibly be worse than what you're selling us now. "You're now on the MTN network" is more of a warning than a feature!
So what was the verdict on the cutt-off date with cancelling afrihost? 15th or 25th?

got to say ... tonight has not been that bad ... close to full line speed on downloads,nntp,browsing ... wonder if they actually fixed the problem or its just a temporary reprieve for the weekend!!!
