AfriHost uncapped ADSL here soon

I think the speed thing is serious shaping - my download took from this morning till around 5pm to get to just over 50% - came back at 6pm and it was done.
 
It is Human Rights day, they are violating our human rights by keeping us in suspense for the whole weekend :)

Gian (Afrihost CEO) indicated that we can expect an announcement on Tuesday. The initail plan was to make the announcement today, but they may have forgotten it was a public holiday :)
 
I bet RPM has the Press release, should we tickle it out of him or try a bribe :)

Well RPM wont tell and I wont wake up Gian, as wee need him in a good mood today, so I am going to bed and will see what the sunrise brings :)
 
I must admit I went with MWEB. They have been agressive with their sales - I phoned with a query last week and a sales person contacted me yesterday and I decided what the heck. My Afrihost account expires this month (at least I knocked it down to 1Gb after the last bad experience posted in these threads). Very happy with the MWEB performance and hope Afrihost can match or better it. I won't likely go back if it's similar to Mweb tbh. I do like the MWeb filter software for my kids and speeds on 4Mbps are really good.
