Afrihost uncapped

I tried it & ...

couldn't wait to stop using it . if you refrain from doing "excessive" downloading and your currently connection uses a dialup modem, then sure ...that would be the appropriate isp to use. rather take advantage of the ±R100 for ±10GB's ... works wonders.

A colleague reports that he receives regular warnings (from the USA) about torrenting via AfriHost

I got warnings on Afrihost too. And torrents got really crap speeds. I struggled to do 30gig a month. I swapped to Mweb, and now average 150-200gig a month Afrihost capped is fine, uncapped is excruciating.

Oh, and no infringement warnings from the USA via MWEB. I think they just don't bother to forward them to us.

I have never used uncapped.

I have a capped unshaped account & it works Great.

Afrihost have no uncapped line - they just resell imagination of uncapping from cr@py IS. And yes, once you downloaded smth big, you immediately be suppressed till half or third of your speed. Pity, but Afrihost can do nothing here.
