Afrihost, wtf?

But it's definitely an Afrihost problem, not, say, a connection problem?

I really hope it gets sorted for you. Although I've read a number of complaints, mostly about supporrt. I like Moshe/Moche (sorry, can't quite remember the name of the rep) - he seems to be able to take criticism in his stride and seems very helpful...

So, yeah, so far I like 'em a lot. Site needs a bit of work (looks decent enough though), I get awesome latency and it's cheap as sin :D

Yep, it's an Afrihost problem. Now I'm just waiting for a reply to the support email that I sent last night already.
 
Hahaha, yeah it has been on and off the whole day! I haven't had any issues with their support, its been quick and efficient - I certainly wont fault them there, but it just seems that when connecting using the afrihost account it disconnects as described above every hour and with a different account I dont have the problem.

The account isnt even 50% of the 20gb package, so it cant be for over-running the cap.....
 
Have to say that everything has worked really well for me and when I needed support for a setting, a quick call and all working well. ;)

I would just like to reiterate as I have said on other forums. That I dont always get to check each thread. If there is a problem and support is not sorting you out. Then email me on [email protected] I will then be able to investigate and see what the problem is!
