Not that much younger, so I'm basically the reverse role...
I don't like the "young, naive and delusional" comments though, I find it quite offensive.

I said snugly... not sleeve of wizzard..
so, no.
edit: soz that wasnt actually aimed at me!
After reading your post everything started making sense in my somewhat relationship...thank you for thisI'm speaking from personal experience honeybunall the way down to if you're not on MXIT often enough you apparently don't care and she's gonna dump you
Not that I have dated many girls but from my own experience plus observation of others it seems pretty much the norm.
If it helps many guys including myself are even worseI'm still young. I'm the type who would freak out easy when a girl turns her back on my affection so I'm far from mature. But I know the best type of girl is the one that changes you for the better, so in my case a more mature person who sees the good in me but is emotionally independent/hardened enough to easily tell me to go to hell (in a good way) if I don't make a plan..well that would make me want to work for it for the better wouldn't it? Rather than a whiner who is never happy with you.
That is far better IMO than a girl who turns her back or always wants you to chase but never returns any affection or finds petty excuses for a fight through a simple misused word or misunderstood behaviour (based on inexperience and poor understanding and immaturity). For instance and as an extreme many young girls like the whole hollywood vibe and are all about meeting mr right and falling in love and making lots of babies and sailing into the sunset. As a guy if you can't provide that you're screwed but don't expect anything in return lol. There is nothing wrong with dreams but don't impose it on a partner who does care about you, common mistake young people make I feel. Quite simply they are not mature enough to hold a proper relationship.
But I'm not saying every single person is like that either and there is not a definitive correlation with age and maturity but it does help. Maybe you're different so no offense intended.
Maybe she could do the math and then tell us?
