I was alerted to a thread about Julius Malema where he was attacked. I know Juju personally (and people who attended the ANCYL conference will also know him as the president), and he is not only a super guy but also knowledgeable on nationalisation related issues.

We obviously don't allow personal attacks on members (Malema is indeed a member ), and in this case I can personally defend him. If you have ever met Malema you will do the same - he is very cool, down to earth and loved by basically everyone who knows him.

Dude, his username is the name of his Talk Show... just like you get all the company reps on here who's usernames are their company names.
It's just the way the forum works.
But yeah, some of us are not scared to use our real names here.

I do however notice that yours is not your real name.
So when are you going to PM the forum owner and ask him to change it to your real name so that we can see how much of a man you really are?

+1. :D Aki is a big boy and can defend himself from the criticism leveled against him. No need for "anyone" to jump in. Also suggesting everyone must phone in when they have anything to say about you or the show is a bit daft to be honest. This is a public forum and people can surely express their opinions even if they happen to differ with yours. I have also never listened to your show at all just adding my opinion on the matter. Being in the "public eye" will sometimes unfortunately attract unwanted attention and comments. Zululami also raises a very good point though with the JUJU POV :D

Once again, I don't per se know the guy and have never listened to the radio show.
 
I have heard Aki's reports on 702, and while mildly interesting, I cannot say that it was of interest to me.

OTOH I am quite aware of how you would have to dumb down reports for the general public - I would hate to have to do that.

Poor form guys, he is trying to inform people that you incessantly complain about being so clueless about tech. And he does cover things that I don't read about here always as well.

Hi Aki I agree with you 100% and that you have to deal with people who are not technical. Your approach makes it easy for the general public to get involved in tech which is great.

You know that people are jumping on the bandwagon when they say they don't listen to his show or know the guy, but they jump in with the insults.

I don't listen to his show. Said that (stating I can't comment on it) and said that I've also attempted reading some of he's stuff but never finished reading anything.
I simply don't care for what the oke has to say, because its rather dry or uninteresting, a lot like Simon Dingle.

Aki I enjoy your tweets. They are almost always interesting to read.

BTW marine1 was the only one to respond after Aki posted. What happened to the guy that started the thread. Scared of some confrontation?
