All CliffCentral’s audience numbers

So not that bad considering it's only been going for about three months.

Interesting how the podcast downloads are so high in comparison to the other figures. Might be because people know how much data they are using downloading a podcast as opposed to streaming it.

Anyone notice how the unwhatever is now a thing, like undeposit thing by some company.

Back to topic, wonder how these stats compare to say 702s podcast moneyshow numbers?

I will probably never listen to this, even though I listened to Gareth since Radio Tuks days.

Figures actually look better than I expected. The peak concurrent streams is what interests me. I don't think that they quite beat the record of concurrent streams that was set when BallZ had the interview with Dewsberry during the NetDynamics skandaal ...

I reckon it might just be about convenience. Sure, some people could be trying to conserve bandwidth, but some people like having something to listen to while they <insert menial job here>, or they missed part (or the entire) streaming of someone.

It's the Netflix argument, where people are starting to get used to watching what they want, when they want, instead of when it airs.

About a 1000 concurrent users. Not sure if a station can survive on that.

I still prefer to switch my car on and drive off listening to traditional broadcast. No fiddling around required. As for Cliff I still wish him good

I listen in the office as do several other people I know of. That is 1 ip with around 5 listeners.

Radio is primarily an in car medium. Until we have a simple cost effective way to stream in car the online streaming stations will suffer.

True, a connection doesn't quite mean listeners, often there will be several people listening on one connection.

I listen in the car whilst I go to work, but when I'm at work I turn it off. So for many people like me, they're only connected for a short commute time - this would also affect the concurrent connection stat.

All in all, I enjoy it. Hope it survives.
