All things Shelly

Those are able to group together, so you can program clusters that act together.
Understood, Mesh type.

It's up to you, just buy a couple extra for each room if you do decide to go this route.

Alternatively, a single Shelly 1 would do the trick for each room and passage or Dimmer if you really want to get fancy.

Pops behind the light switch.

@ShellySA do you guys manufacture the bayonette style of the Shello Duo? If so it would be great to add that to the product lineup as it is a very common standard in South Africa, a lot more common than E27.

Only E27, as most new fixtures (pendants and lamps) from Zebbies, Glo-lighting, Superbalist are this configuration.

For B22 - bayonet, there is an adapter

Aah that is a pity. The annoying thing about the adapters is it raises the height of the bulb, which is sometimes not acceptable.

And also thanks for that link to that lighting company, they have good stuff at decent prices and literally a 1 minute drive from my work.

I agree with you on the raised bulb height.

Sure, glad to have helped.

The Shelly devices, especially the PM which is real tiny compared to the Sonoff Pow.
1PM was designed for Geyser timing+power monitoring (geysers with elements not exceeding 3500 Watts) ie most Kwikots and Franke.

1PM's form factor, entails that it installs at Db board DIN rail slot, connected to the geyser's isolator. (as a result there is no concern of overheating by being installed into a ceiling, as temp can exceed 40°C up there)

Sensor will shut off the PCB of Shelly 1PM if in the event that temp does reach 40°C, protecting circuits.

Yeah, unfortunately my geyser is 4kW, so i'm not risking a PM. Hence the wait for an EM, which I'll then use with a contactor to actually switch on/off the geyser (instead of using a geyserwise).

Any way of scheduling a swimming pool to switch on/ off?

Garden lights?

Doubt that you want to monitor power consumption for the pump or garden lights?

If not then a Shelly 1 for the pool and another Shelly 1 for the lights.
