Not so clear to me, but it looks like the black BMS to BMS cable is in the wrong port on the Master (the one with the yellow cable going to the inverter.

Master battery (the one with the yellow CAN cable) needs the black cable in port 1, not port zero.

PROCEDURE:

• Get a standby torch (in case) & warn family of possible loadshedding outage;
• Get wife to hold torch;
• switch off slave battery;
• switch off master battery;
• change the black cable on master battery from link port 0 to link port 1;
• switch on master battery;
• switch on slave battery;
• look at inverter LiBMS screen;
• Take a pic;
• Post it here.

The BMS dictates to the inverter, not the other way around. All you are doing is causing the one battery's log to record that the inverter is drawing too much power, something that you do not want because warranty.

That's definitely wrong.

The black cable should be moved to the one below it for the master.

It's designed in such a way for multiple batteries. Where do you think the next battery link cable is going to go if you have 5 batteries. The top one connects to the bottom one on the next battery.

You don't need to reset the battery for correcting the link port cables. Only if you are changing the dip switches to you need to restart the batteries.

Also remember it’s a total added up for all batteries.

So if you have two that would be 52.5 each etc.

Apparently I own 51% of Lagavullin, yet I cannot find stock in GP.
Then in December I discover 4 (four) bottles of 16 year old Lagavullin in some obscure bottlestore in Buffelsfontein road in Kabookie ( the same one with all the cows). And the price? R1400 per bottle! I quickly snarfed them all up, and drank them as quickly. Now all I have is this crappy Glenbrynth /spits

Safe? Sure. Longevity wise, the rule of thumb is the slower the charge, the longer the battery lasts. I do mine at 33A because I can. You, with one, may feel that 75A is more than quick enough, maybe even 50A. Use or lose.
