I'd say between R70k and R80k installed

My Sunsynk 5kw, Hubble AM2 5.5kw with installation and COC came in at R58 670
Might I add, loving the no care just leave it feeling. Hairdryer? Run it! Fridge? Why not! Ice machine for dop, 24/7 that big boy!

The worst the battery has ever drained to was 54%, that was during our 4-hour loadshedding and we ran everything, TV's, lights, Gaming PC etc. Charged and ready in 01:44h

AN Electrical, Based in George.

I bought directly from Voltex, their all over SA. The installer places a warranty on his installation

Yeah was a 5.32kW Lithium sunsynk battery but was about 20k more than my estimate which was around R60k

The Sunsynk + Sunsynk combo gives you a ten year warranty on both which may just make it worth it.

Assuming that’s the reason the price is up.

Compare on Power Store.

Their web site says they are a wholesaler, do you know if they sell to the public?

Wow on all fronts!! That price is great, when did you install?

Also, amazing that you run everything on it! How many people in your home?

The system was installed last week.

Only me and the wife
Our usual power usage during loadshedding is around the 550-700w, that's a few lights, fridge and the PC ( RTX 3080 hungry horse ) routers, TV.

This morning we ran the coffee machine a few times, 3 cups, with the wife doing her hair for 5-10mins with a hairdryer. The battery endured it all and only saw 79% capacity left.

The Hubble battery has a app, if we use 400-600w, it says we're good for 8-10 hours, which checks out. The V2 of these batteries, as I understand it, is a 115A model, hence the 5.5KW, 5KW usable

That's a great price, was it done recently? Paid R 63k in April 22 for the same combo and I really shopped around.

When I did mine GWstore was advertising it @ R 65k, they are now over
R 80k!

Prices have gone up a lot, doubtful that you currently get away with R 60k.
In Capd Town, probably around R 80k for that combo installed.

About 1-2 weeks ago

In store at Voltex electrical wholesalers. Was in their store recently, bought 35mm battery cable, asked about another battery and solar, price has spike with the new batch but only with R800+-. Making it R27500 give or take
