Now this is an interesting post! I am surprised at how low Liverpool is - I would have thought they would be higher than Chelsea and possibly Arsenal.
Was about to point that out. Most guys say that Chelsea were nothing without Roman.
Not true.

Well actually, do some research and you'll find that it's true. Chelsea were nowhere near winning it until Roman came in.
I prefer this table which is based between 1889 - 2008.

Still surprised?
I found that odd. Would have thought they could have done that up to the time when th enew system came into place - but I spose that would not give a fair reflection either...(PLEASE NOTE: The points are based on the original system of two points per win, one point for a draw.)
I think that log is a bit incorrect... if I'm remember correctly Everton is the ONLY EVER team in the premiership to have never been relagated to division 1...
See... that's where you're wrong. I have no need for research - been following Chelsea since 97. We were capable of winning it from 2000 onwards... the managers just weren't right. Gullit & Vialli were great cup managers but had trouble in the league. Ranieri... well... as much as I loved the guy as manager - he wasn't called the Tinkerman for nothing. Don't expect Juve to win the league while he's in charge.
Chelsea were successful before Abramovich. Go and check who Chelsea's second most trophied manager is and you'll see that he has nothing to do with the Roman Era.
