I remembered a few years back (maybe last year even) there was a discussion about this guys book.
Here is an official site of his:

I read this blog today, after googling for smokes again, rofl.

The guy made sense and it's due to his blog post that I bought the book today.
I bought the illustrated version of the Easy Way to Stop Smoking.
Have any of you read it?
The only thing that bothers me, according to this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_Carr
The man died in 2006 of Lung Cancer. I've heard this before. People smoke a while (about 8 years for me) and then they stop and a couple of years later they develop cancer.
Am I reading the wrong signs though?
Thanks,

I have read the book and I have stopped smoking 19 months ago. If you read the introduction to the book you will see that he was a heavy smoker and tried several things to stop before eventually doing it his own way. It is not a theoretical book.
I can really recommend that. I can also recommend not doing Nicotine Replacement Therapy, prescription or similar. As he said in the book - smoking is not really a big physical addiction.
goodluck teraside!! hope you come right!!

Yep Good luck, terraside. Lord knows I need some too. I'm rather tired of hacking up juicy lung segments day in, and day out. Makes me fearful.Judging from your signatures, I'd have thought they'd have a "healer" in those church group revival meetings? Then I wouldn't have to bother with Allan Carr or Nicorette. The "healer" would just sort of mumble something or maybe he'd shout, then he'd poke me in the chest, I'd fall backwards in a trance (or narcolepsy whichever comes first to me) and I'd be free of coffin nails forever, in his name. Is that how it works?
I will try to say this with love.
Please, please go and troll somewhere else.
It's a serious question. You do have these Christian healers do you or don't you? I'm just curious.
You are completely deviating from the purpose of this thread. If your questions were sincere you could have asked them through private messaging.
I fail to see that they are serious or sincere.
Well, for me, Private messaging defeats the purpose of a forum.
But thanks anyway you've answered the question. I wouldn't make a judgement call on what you see as serious or sincere because it just comes across as defensive. Allan Carr's methods work for some but not for others. Trust me on this. I've had his little book on my cistern seat for nearly two years now and I'm still smoking.
I thought you were talking of shrooms or something
Read the book alf! Come now!![]()

You guys seriously think this will make you stop smoking?
Hahaha you are better off getting hypnotized, if you really wanted to stop you would put a cigi down and never touch it again.
Will power. No book will help you.
Zyban would be better.
Anyways GL
Charlie no craving no grumpiness how does that work when your body is calling the shots? Surely she had cravings and grumpiness the first 2/3 weeks?
