Alternative Cryptocurrencies (General Discussion & Trading)

The TRAC weekly chart looks real nice.
Their reddit and social media are constantly being updated with progress, and they were recently also one of the top 10 active GITHUB contributors: https://cryptomiso.com/months_3.html#RHOC).
(^^^ Interesting link to see how active crypto projects are)

What do you make of ETN's announcements ?

It feels like they have 'revival points' with breaking announcements to keep ETN alive but I can't tell if it really will amount to anything in the long run. If they really should make the breakthrough and get ETN used as they envisage then I would look back and be sorry for selling off my ETN and visa versa.

They have an upcoming fork which I think will notably do two things:

1.) ASIC resistance, and
2.) Removal of a privacy feature

The ASIC resistance might mean less dumping on the market from miners, the reduced privacy might get them through the door to a lot more commercial entities who don't want /need such high anonymity. Will any of this matter in 6 months? I dunno. I'm just riding this out and seeing where it goes. Don't have very strong feelings either way about ETN right now. It is nice to see their active development and community involvement though, waiting to see more stuff coming from their partnerships.

Lol, Vitalik mentions FunFair in a panel discussion (like half a sentence) and price goes up.
Curious to see where FUN goes over the next few months.

Any thoughts about altcoin's DEX opening tomorrow?

No pretending here, am generally interested hence the question.

Try not to be so suspicious next time and saor to the wrong conclusions...

Atomic Swap wallet :
(Assets are not held by the exchange - where they can be frozen - but in your wallet to which you retain the private key.)

Eidoo (EDO) has some of the most ridiculous volume accumulation I've seen on a chart.
Almost looks like an error / over-enthusiastic volume manipulation.

Daily chart.

I know pump n dump groups like Binance. Cryptopia is a double edged sword. On one side it's easy because the coins are low volume so pumping is much easier to accomplish but on the other side, the coins are generally low volume because they ****coins so you need to choose wisely what to try your hand at.

So Verge (XVG) just got attacked again.

What is seemingly more interesting is part of the attack involved using the time-warp exploit which Dark Gravity Wave is suppose to be immune to.

Wonder what this is going to do to their price. I can't see pornhub sticking around.

Take a look at Blocknode. It's a blockchain solution for loyalty / reward programs. The masternodes will start from 0.5btc during the presale on 25 June. The team are on Discord answering questions as well.

A few things...

1.) Wallet download doesn't work.
2.) Whitepaper doesn't contain any real technical info about their blockchain, or even if they're developing their own blockchain. It's mostly just definitions of general masternode and blockchain terms (governance, scalability etc.). They could just be forking pivx or something and calling it their own chain (their reference to mainnet, testnet etc). Do I care if it's a fork of an existing chain? Not really - just means they're subject to whatever issues and idiosyncrasies they inherit.

Dunno, I'm not really seeing much here other than what looks like a forked coin with some pseudo-marketing fluff behind it.
Maybe they update in the next few days with more info.

Masternodes are fun though :).

The team mentioned the wallet is finished and functioning but will be released on github once the presale begins. They are also working on extending the WP to include more technical information. There are other alternatives in the loyalty program space but I don't think any with a masternode.
