Alternative Cryptocurrencies (General Discussion & Trading)

I bought mine directly from them too and got diverted to the Paris division. Cost roughly 58 Euros + 24Euro delivery and took 3 weeks to get here.

It looks like the US market has a March 2018 waiting list. I was surprised that the Trezors were much more expensive.

If you do buy one, please don't get one from eBay.

"If this image looks familiar then you should transfer your money out of your ledger immediately."

Your ledger will NEVER show your 24-word phrase anywhere BUT on the device itself. This was a nice fake and someone recently lost £25k because of it.

Thanks for the heads up... sneaky sneaky

I bought 2 ledgers - both middle of November. 1'st from Ledger directly - has YET to arrive, I **** you not. Ordered the 2nd about a week later from Amazon, got it in about 10 days.

They do indeed work very well with Ripple.

Also, when the second one finally arrives, I'll put it up for sale - just want to get my money back.

The mobile-friendly cryptocurrency has formed a groundbreaking relationship with the mobile and payments technology provider XIUS, which has an active subscriber base of over 65 million people.

The XIUS ‘Payment Manager’ software services 1.2 million agents, dealers and distribution points spread across 9 LATAM countries. Its reach and specialist payment processing capabilities will be invaluable as Electroneum works with XIUS towards integration of Electroneum as a payment method across Latin America.

Anybody using the Binance app on Iphone? My won't start as it says the developer isn't 'trusted' yet.

Careful with that.

There are a ton of fake exchange apps out there stealing your login details. I downloaded one, got hit with 2 ads before I could even sign in, checked the reviews and turns out it was a scam. Same with Poloniex, they even state on their website that they don't have apps and there's a fake floating around.

See, the Binance app you download off the Binance website, but thanks, I'll just delete it.

No offence, but how secure is buying a Ledger from someone you've never met? Is it possible to change the address / seed? After all, wallets don't store coins, only keys.

It will be completely sealed. You set up your own pin, and your own 24 word pass phrase/recovery phrase.

When I got mine off Amazon, they tell you what shouldn't be activated /opened in order for you to know that it's completely safe to use.

I downloaded the app from the app store seems legit so far..

I just downloaded and installed Coinomi. So far so good. Anyone have any issues with using it? It does multi-currency and seems you get to keep keys etc. For the paranoid, just set up the addresses you want and uninstall the app - you can always re-create the 'wallet' with the seed when you need access to it.
