I currently have a WebAfrica fibre contract with service supplied by Vumatel. I am looking for and alternative to WebAfrica with which:
1. I don't have have to talk to a BOT.
2. Emails are send from mailboxes that I can reply to.
3. My line speed is more than 10% of the contracted speed.

Can anyone please provide some guidance ?

RocketNet or mind the speed

Any ISP is a step up from WebAfrica. In my experience they've been the worst ISP I've ever been with.

With Cool Ideas now. Very happy. Was cheaper too.

1. You will just be a number at any ISP. Welcome to Africa.
2. See 1. But the people have spoken the truth, almost any isp will be better than WA. Anyone other than Accelerit. And vox, unless you like red tape? Could probaby point out an issue with every single ISP. Impossible to be perfect. Have only seen positive things about web squad.
3. In 99% of the times where I see a speed-related non-specific complaint from a fibre user, the issue is everything but the ISP. It is usually wifi interference, old devices, heavy use users, virusses or router issues. Even if you are getting 10% of your speed over a brand new hardwired LAN cable to the ONT directly, then it points to an area/FNO issue, instead of your ISP.

If it is a specific speed complaint, e.g., "My download speed from the work VPN at 102.123.123.45 is slow', then sure, your ISP will matter. No single ISP can peer everywhere.

Wonder if the problem wiht WA is area specific? because here in Brackenfell i have been going strong on my 100mb line unshaped / uncapped. streaming to laptop, to tv for netflix, other laptop for Amazon, cellphone for youtubee clips. three years and not one single issue yet.
