Hey guys

Ok so Im sooo fed up with DSTV and all their crap, Im sure that this has been asked before, so i applogise if it has.

What alternative iptions does one have? Keeping in jind watching things like live sport also, cricket, rugby, motogp... I mean is that available on streaming services? And if so, from where?

Are there anyone here that actually uses alternatives to DSTV? And how is that working out for ya?

Probably not what you had in mind? :D

I started reading significantly more after being away from DSTV.

Paid options are http://offsidestreams.com/ and http://ntv.mx.

Pirate options are XBMX/KODI with the following add-on's:
Phoenix
Icefilms
Navi-X
BBTS - My new favorite, especially for Sport
P2PStreams - uses torrents to stream numerous pirated TV streams in 480p or higher. The best option if you have unshaped 10Mb or better.
If you have the patience, install iStream as well, tutorial here: https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-install-istream-for-xbmc-manually/

I have several Android TV Boxes that, in addition to KODI, run an app called Torrent Stream Controller on. It is essentially the same thing as the P2PStreams plugin but has a pre-configured icon-type interface and for a small monthly or annual fee, you can get a nice TV-Guide as well.

I have a Netflix with UnoTelly subscription as well, although Unotelly is not as pivotal as it used to be thanks to Hola for both Chrome and Android. I pay to use Unotelly since it is convenient.

Another, paid for, option for SuperSport (and to some extent DStv as well) is to ask a DStv Premium PVR subscribed mate if you can pay them an agreed amount of money every month to use their Streaming benefits. You load the DStv Desktop Player or Android/iOS apps onto wherever device you choose, your mate enters their DStv online account details into the apps and voila, off you go.

Do you mind explaining what you actually mean by "all their crap"?

Do you mean that you experience technical difficulties, making it difficult to watch, or are you perhaps rather referring to the price of using their service(which is a very different subject)?

I have Hola on my tablet (android) after watching one episode on Netflix, it says: "failed to load" and I have to restart it. I'm trying to find the unotelly app for android but struggling.

NTV has improved a lot lately. Had some buffering issues in the past, but I haven't had any issues lately so might be worth trying that for a month. It's pretty neat on XBMC using OntappTV EPG.

I'm sure at least a quarter of the forum uses Netflux and/or Hulu.

As for sport:
