I had a fall about 2 months ago, passed out whilst walking (had a few drinks and a big meal), this lead to a concussion - not too severe - doctor sent me home.

Everything seemed fine for about a month and then suddenly I started having dizzy spells (generally around lunch time), everyday... no history of this prior to the fall. Blood pressure and sugar were fine.

Went to doc - tested pressure/sugar again - perfect.

Sent for an EEG and MRI - both came out clear. Since then I have given it a break and am looking out for symptoms that may be causing this.

I have a LOT of heart palpitations, usually coming a few in a row then nothing for a few hours, these definitely seem to happen just before a dizzy spell and shortness of breath, but I know the feeling of my brain not getting enough oxygen (Slight pins and needles and an encroaching blackness)

I may be giving myself panic attacks .... not sure where to go from here - stopping coffee seems to help the above but no idea why I would all of a sudden become sensitive to caffeine

How long after the dizzy spell until you had your sugar levels tested?

my expert online technology forum opinion...yes, make the best of the time you have left.

About 40 mins - 1 hr

Too late.
Visit the chemist and get hold of some kind of DIY tester.
Check your pulse at the time of the dizzy spell as well. Fast, slow? Strong, weak and thready?

Sounds like a BP related thing though.

Pulse feels weak but not fast, I would guesstimate 70bpm

Weak compared to your normal pulse?

Sounds like BP related, still.

Go to clicks or diskem buy a sugar testing kit, they are cheap.

Start logging sugar levels, I did it for three weeks took sheet to the doctor, try also record what you eat and drink. Specifically sugar and carbs (and no i wont suggest you start banting because that made me worse)

Definitely sounds like a panic disorder.

I'm very familiar with them although I saw them off 16 years ago.

But yes, as already mentioned - of course you're dying, silly.
