Guilt free exploitation of the poor like this is so entrenched in our behaviour in South Africa. Most of us don't even realise how fortunate we are that we can afford to have full time domestic workers and nannies. One of the joys of colonialism we still get to enjoy here.

Try to find a full time maid or nanny "legally" for even R15,000 month in the UK, Australia, USA. Not possible.

Try to get a Salary of even R50 000 a month. Not Possible.

My aunt has a nanny and a maid in the UK, only uses the service twice a week @ 20 pounds each per day ..... of course she earns pounds, unlike the weirdos who keep using rands as if they're used over there
