I dunno, but here is my summary:

1. WBS improved Amber's connection
2. Amber is betting (willing to take a bet with ALL of us) that legal action will get us nowhere.
3. Oh, and LG is sexist.

I think that's about it.

I dont think everyone on this forum is a whining child and I do apologise if I came across as that. I do not think WBS is a competent company at all (I have also had to phone their Helpdesk). But the way you suspended people are behaving is on par with WBS and will not gain much support. In fact I am willing to wager by next month your fire of anger would have been dulled by your life routine about this particular issue.

As for Lonegunman's very sexist remarks once again this forums biased and incompetent moderators are where exactly to be seen, reminds me of a company we all know very well.

Yes, I have indeed cancelled. My service is paid for up until end of April.

I would also like to take a moment and apologize to you for my behavior, but as you pointed out, you did not intend to come accross the way you did in some of your wording. (And most of the time, neither do I)

I'm sceptical that any law suit would win, and personally never even thought of taking action, other than to cancel. The service you're experiencing now, has those same "bandwidth hogs" you speak of, still downloading. It's because WBS has a system in place since 00:00 that it is actually very reliable for everyone (except for the issues with irc and msn and ssh)

On a lighter note, I would like to say that online, you don't have a "sex" or an age. And women can't have it both ways....yelling, "treat me as an equal" and when we do, "how sexist of you!"

Men call other men names, yet, you're fully aware of this and want to be treated as an equal. When we treat you as an equal, you're unhappy with that too. So what do women want? Respect? Sure, but I'm sure that if I give you respect you'd have a problem with that too! :D
 
First of all, apologies for such a long winded post. I was trying to look at both sides of the argument and I suppose got a little carried away :p

Noone, you really are something else. To dissect little parts of what I was saying and to blatantly ignore the parts where I supported your point of view simply confirms your unswerving desire to avoid being constructive in your critism. And then to have another personal attack about 12 year olds having more insight.... lol. Seriously. Pleased to meet you.

There are justifiably aggrieved clients in this forum however some of you belittle yourselves and undermine your own credibility when you post such blinkered opinions. Rather than piss into the wind why not be more reasonable - anyone influential in making changes you demand are far more likely to listen.

A few insults here and there are ok, so long as they are generic and general and NOT personal.

If someone gets heavily personal, by all means, step in and sort things out.

So far, this is just another standard thread where people debate, get angry, throw their toys, get wise, make clever remarks, try to keep the peace etc.

IOW, just another day on a forum ! :D
