Can anyone please assist with Amazon Alexa echo dot 4th generation.
I can not access any music skill on it.
Spotify is also not working. Is there a way around this?

Trying to flog my Alexa Echo dot (Got it for free with mortgage from the bank) and nobody wants it.

Fully Nest integrated (about 12 devices currently), and its a pain in the ass linking this to one of my existing speakers. The whole skills thing annoys the hell out of me, Googles way of integrating devices is more intuitive.

Edit: misread response...

Device works fine, it just doesnt work well with Google home...

Its sitting in BC, Canada though, and our highways are screwed, so nothing getting in and out for a while. Also probably going to cost 200 CAD just to ship it out.

after setting up the echo dot - i opened spotify and it asked if i wanted to connect to alexa and it works fine with no hacks except sideloading amazon alexa on my samsung phone
