Amazon Prime Video worth it?

I only signed up to watch the Grand Tour and Jay Leno's garage. otherwise its crap

Same here. I only signed up for grand tour. Might actually cancel again this month until gt is back on again.
 
Some devices like the amazon fires and some others (TVs, roku) will hardcode region settings onto the device which means if you signed up for an primevideo account or amazon account based in South Africa and logged into device it will only show you their originals and some Bollywood stuff .

Amazon does a region check based on where your account , address , billing address and IP address are setup.

So if you can’t see all the content available it means either your device , account or IP address isn’t matching the amazon region hard coded to device .

An example of titles that won’t show up if these requirements aren’t met are

Caved and ended up signing up for a month. I didn't even know they had all 3 back to the future's as it is near the bottom of the entire action and adventure category under ALL the Bollywood content.

Great you find them . Their interface and layout is horrible but they do have better classic movies than Netflix and Showmax have
 
Was BTTF dubbed in an Indian language? I have found a few sites with dubbed releases.

There is an Indian movie that I have been looking for. Mouna Ragam from 1986. It is on YouTube on potato quality without subtitles and also watermarked and cropped. Perhaps someone can confirm the quality if found under SA prime?

Google confirms that Quantum Leap is on US prime. SA prime? and is the music original or replaced?
 
I switched back to SA prime video to see what’s available. It is definitely very watered down . There are maybe a handful of decent movies .

The US version is so much better .
 
I had it for a week couldn't deal with trying to watch videos on a takealot interface. It's horrible
 
If you buy lots of things on amazon then it’s a bargain. I am currently in Belgium. So most things a free delivery if you have prime. So in the end you do not pay for the channels. It’s not great with loads of very old shows and movies
