Amazon Prime Video worth it?

I like the X-Ray feature they have on some of the shows, I wish the other streaming services would do something similar.

It's really handy when you have one of those "what was he/she in before" moments.

Amazon owns IMDB so it's understandable they have the feature and not Netflix. :o

Amazon Prime i find a keeper for some series they have.. thats about it.

Netflix for their content is good, showmax for hbo stuff.. i want Disney tho

Disney+ is ok but they put most of their adult orientated content on Hulu. I paid a little extra for the full Hulu/ESPN/Disney bundle.

Unless you're in the mood for hairy mermaid butt?

Fast running out of things to watch on here.

Anyone have any recommendations for series and movies other than the obvious ones?

Seems they haven't been adding much content lately either.

Was BTTF dubbed in an Indian language? I have found a few sites with dubbed releases.

There is an Indian movie that I have been looking for. Mouna Ragam from 1986. It is on YouTube on potato quality without subtitles and also watermarked and cropped. Perhaps someone can confirm the quality if found under SA prime?

Google confirms that Quantum Leap is on US prime. SA prime? and is the music original or replaced?
There's a pretty good selection of Tamil movies, when I had my free trial I was showing my mother the selection of Tamil Movies and they had pretty much every classic from that era. (So I was told)

Anyone use a proxy to get the US version of Prime Video? I've tried both Smartproxydns and Unlocator, but can't seem to access any US content. My Amazon content setting is set to US, and I've set a default US address. I'm using Apple TV with the Settings -> Location set to US too (the iTunes account is SA though).

Does it only work if you pay with a US credit card or US iTunes account, or am I missing something?

Amazon prime checks where your account was created and your IP address .

If your use a dns redirector and your account address is South Africa you will see a weird version of prime where you will see a lot of Indian movies .

In order to see if you are in the correct region search for Capone if you see it you are in the correct region .

Is there anyway to correct it, or do I have to create a whole new Amazon account?

Depending how you signed up if you used primevideo.com then there is no way to change you prime account to Us and you need to create a new one by going to amazon.com connecting to your VPN go to settings and sign up for amazon prime. You also need to have a Us address available.

Okay, thanks. I signed up years ago via Amazon and added Prime Video later, so I assume it's stuck to SA. I'll try creating another account to see if that helps.

Go to amazon.com/mycd click preferences change region to US add US address and resubscribe to prime in amazon settings

Any reason why a particular series would suddenly be unavailable? Been watching CSI for the last couple of weeks and today it has disappeared without trace...

I got their help desk on chat, the response was that ''video availability depends on the agreements with content owners''.

Which effectively means you can lose access to any content at any stage I guess.
Pulling an itunes. Once you have access to it and next its gone.
