Not yetIs there a price tracker that works with Amazon.co.za?
Buy groceries at Checkers.Same. It would make a huge difference if you can use your ebucks there. Currently I mostly buy from Takealot and OneDayOnly because of ebucks. Have to spend those ebucks somehow.
Late is anytime after the agreed upon time. Having to have someone be available to sign for a delivery is an inconvenience, but it's worth it when they actually deliver the goods. How late is late seeing as its been less than 3 weeks so assuming your weber wasn't for a one off it should be a minor inconvenience.
They didn't bother updating the ETA to delayed until after I contacted them.Did you try to call them because my experience has been that they''ve been on the ball delivering within a few days from order at the latest.
Nah I use my credit card for that and get 15% back in ebucks.Buy groceries at Checkers.
I've only used Amazon.co,.za once. Delivery was the next day, very fast.
However they used TCG. TCG requires a pin when they deliver. It's annoying af if I'm not at the house but someone else is. I have to make sure they have the pin. Honestly first world problem but Takealot doesn't require a pin to deliver.
I was there was a way to opt out of the pin kak. I would use Amazon more.
Never had an issue in all the years I've used takelaot. Even going further back with take2 and kalahari,And the day Takealot doesn't deliver your package but believes that they did and there's a fight about it you'll wish there was a pin.
pffff, greenhorn, even going back to TheShoppingMatrix over here (the thing that came before Take2, Kalahari was a separate thing entirely until merging with Take2 to become Takealot)Even going further back with take2 and kalahari
I once got a pair of head phones i never ordered. You know how hard it was to actually send back?Never had an issue in all the years I've used takelaot. Even going further back with take2 and kalahari,
Ironically, I've had issues with TCG claiming they've delivered packages that never came though. Also had one time where they delivered plumbing materials instead of a pair of headphones. They never came back to fetch their ****. I still wonder about the guy who I'm sure was pissed off his pipes never got delivered.
Anyway, I've got a camera outside. Easy to prove / disprove.
Have you seen the weber prices recently. If you can get the basic one for under 2k it is a pretty good deal.Ordered a Weber off Amazon ZA for Black Friday. Overseas they consistently deliver early, which I can handle, but AZA dropped the ball and delivered late. The unopened box is still in my entry hall while I determine if I really want to keep it now.
Which is the basic one?Have you seen the weber prices recently. If you can get the basic one for under 2k it is a pretty good deal.
Hell I am still using my weber from 2007, only thing I had to replace in that time was braai grill, and installed a new leg kit, with wear and tear the leg socket weakened over time. I paid R999 for mine.
So yeah if the price was right, I wouldn't think about it twice to keep it....
Some braaier you are.........faniebraai is turning in his grave as we speak....!!!!!!! lol RIP old friend
coastal weather ? That would explain the shorten lifespan......had cadac and all the other brands, honestly they start falling apart after the first year, and it isn't like they are much cheaper....Which is the basic one?
If you're shopping for another weber check your local facebook marketplace. There are half a dozen on offer near me.
Unfortunately I seem to have to replace mine every 5-7 years due to rust - returning the weber and putting the money towards a Kamado or Egg might be the way to go.

Yeah, we're coastal. I wonder if it's too late for one of your leg kits.coastal weather ? That would explain the shorten lifespan......had cadac and all the other brands, honestly they start falling apart after the first year, and it isn't like they are much cheaper....
Weber lasted 17 years before I needed to replace the legs. They are generally the first to go....also I don't clean or wash out the bottom of my weber I just empty the ash.....the layer that sticks to the bottom protects it....
The 3rd party leg kit that you buy has reinforcing washers on the in and outside, usually the part that rusts or weakens first.
Have a can of spray paint as well, any nicks or chips get dealt with immediately, the moment you let it sit the rust starts, and my weber stands in rain and weather as well.
The basic one is the entry 57cm weber. Other than new fittings, it is exactly the same as the one I got 17 years ago....and the new leg kit I should get another 5-6 years out of it.
