For those who have tried Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and ShowMax, which streaming service would you recommend?

Netflix, due to the originals and 4k which works well on my fibre.

I cancelled Amazon. I think at start up despite price being only $2.99 its pretty bad compared to when Netflix launched

Netflix Original shows are awesome. HBO has the rest of the good shows.

I have Netflix and Showmax, and in my opinion Netflix is far better than Showmax.

Netflix's interface is much better - but still not perfect. I like that I can preview the shows with snippets of information without having to load a new page as with showmax.

Netflix's buffering is better. If I click in the buffered zone it plays immediately, Showmax reloads it again.

Netflix uses less data over the same period and the quality looks the same

Netflix- it manages not to look like a stained glass window over my rubbish 1mb wifi connection.

I shudder to think how many kittens they sacrifice to Khorne for his superior data compression algorithms.

Showmax isn't a consideration, no Roku app.

Showmax...for now. When I run out of content I'll switch to Netflix.

Works perfectly over fibre and Chromecast.

Netflix and Showmax - why only subscribe to one?

I'll keep the Amazon Prime for the introductory six months @ $2.99 but nobody really seems interested in what they have to offer plus the quality seems variable.
