Hi
Suggestions for a amd mainboard what support 9590 and have pci-e gen 3.0.

Thx in advance

that board dont have pci-e 3.0...did look at it... budget not worry...but no OVERPRICE! lol

intel is 2x price amd...have amd already...but if the 6300 gonna bottle r9 290..i must get new cpu...

Then why don't go Intel or you already an AMD CPU?

point me to cheap intel that can compare to 9590...and i might look into it....but must be same price or cheaper than amd.. (R3500 for 9590) ..thats my limit...intel MB and cpu...or amd mb or cpu...

Chevron's Sabertooth is one of the better boards in terms of compatibility. Here's a slightly longer list of qualified boards as tested by AMD. If you're planning to run a FX-9590, I hope you know already that you're going to have to invest somewhat into your cooling setup to keep it from melting whatever board it's plugged into.

and have pci-e gen 3.0.

That's not going to happen until 2016 for the mainstream parts. Socket FM2+ has it, but I don't think you're in the market for a A10-7850K.

Depends on the workloads. Even the FX-9590 is overkill for a lot of applications, whereas the FX-8350 or FX-8320 would make more sense.

If gaming is the main aim, a Core i5-4690K will be cheaper, run cooler, use less power, overclock better and will be quite a bit faster. The motherboard selection and features list on Z97 is also way better.

Also the FX-6300 is a brilliant gaming CPU. I wouldn't upgrade if I were you. It's still on TomsHardware's recommended gaming CPU list.

Also any reason you're not looking at the 285?

thx wesley..but their is a fewe amd boards with pci-e 3.0...and ALOT intel ones...

i have Coolermaster neptune 280L ...for cooling

Ah ok.

Then a new board won't give that to you. What is your current mobo?

You should try overclocking your CPU maybe.

How much RAM do you have?

Do you have an SSD?

Well, I've never seen a AM3+ board with PCI-Express 3.0 lanes. If you can find one for me, I'll be shocked.

In terms of Battlefield 4 if you use the Mantle renderer I don't think you'll see any bottlenecks performance-wise. You may find that it responds well to an extra two cores, but it's one of the few games out there that do. Its a lot more sensitive to memory transfers, where DDR3-2133MHz produces a noticeable benefit moving from DDR3-1600.

970A-G46 MSI
Overclock to 4.2 ( manual turbo )
8 gig
Vertex 4 ssd

...looking for new board as they state 9590 will burn my current board out due high TDP*

funny asus website state the sabertooth have gen 3 pcie...but not the wootware page....hmmmmm.

why do they make it if its no use? just asking....their must be a benefit..not?

Only nice for if you want to run 3 or 4 gfx cards and not run out of bandwidth.

I was also thinking about Mantle.
