Amps

I am looking for an amp that can take inputs from:

1. A PS3
2. DSTV PVR
3. Output from a HTPC (HDMI Motherboard)
4. A Plasma TV

I would like to not pay more than R10,000.

It's a bit vague but hopefully with your questions we can narrow the search down.

Well you're looking for an amp with say 2 or 3 HDMI inputs, 1 optical and then random others..

Why do u need an input from a plasma TV... if you have your system setup, the only things going to your plasma should be video signals, you shouldn't be taking any outputs from the plasma itself.

Yeah, the plasma input isn't necessary at all.

The Pioneer VSX-1017AV-S will suit your requirements - it only has 2 HDMI inputs so you won't have any spare though. Costs around R8 500 and isn't bad quality at all for the price.

It isn't the best looking receiver but it'll do the trick.
