Anyway, The DA is a non racial party.
 
When you are unsure of who to vote for ALWAYS vote for the opposition. The reason is so that the main party doesn't get too much power (66%+ majority) which allows it to do anything. The less votes the main party gets the more likely it is to perform better in order to regain lost ground, or risk losing further votes and its position in power.

The default and prudent option on voting is NEVER vote the main/ruling party. I have no love for the DA or its politics. In my view its swapping one for ruler for another (I am an anti-statist so...) but I voted DA because its the main opposition. Thats all.

If the DA came to power, unless they were doing a spectacular job or there was a noticable improvement (With less government intervention) , I would vote someone else.

If the DA came to power and swapped ineffective socialism for more effective socialism I would NOT vote for them. Probably wouldn't vote for the ANC based on their previous performance record though.

The suscpicion (understatement of the year) comes from the fact that he's a criminal who cries for his machine gun every 5 minutes. Who, with more than 2 brain cells in their cranium, wouldn't be suspicious? The bottom line is this: if everything was on track we wouldn't be having this discussion. Proving your worthiness to other races has nothing to do with it. You're not even content never mind anyone else so I guess you need to go and get your own house in order before throwing around accusations about other races.

As for the "If Zuma were to fark up then GOOD..." part, I see what you did there. Nice. Funny how so many, oh I don't know...green martians, resort to childish, spiteful BS when their leaders, ability to lead and even moral values are questioned.

Now who killed all men/boys and stole the land, cattle, wive's and children (daughters) of the real indigenous South Africans just a "few" years before that? A lot of that is still being practiced as we read in the daily SA news. I supposes savagery are hard to overcome hey?

Just one point, the Whitey's that promoted apartheid are ACTUALLY part of the ANC.

The DA (Formally DP, etc etc) were in opposition during apartheid 1.0, much like they're in opposition during apartheid 2.0
 
I wish to make a point in general regarding the racism situation.
I wont check back for any replied/quoted posts, most likely, as the discussion has clearly fallen beneath a point of intelligent debate.

What is my point?
White people are quick to predict the downfall of South Africa and attribute it solely to the black man.
Black people are equally quick to point at white men and call them the devils and evil of our society due to apartheid.

Could it be that white people see this impending downfall merely due to their own unwillingness to cooperate with the black man? (Where I live, i have never once heard a white man state that he appreciates the cooperation between himself and any black person he works with; Counterfact, they continue to blame even their own mistakes at work to the black man beside them; VERY racist where i live btw, makes me sick)
Could it be the black man sees only the final result of what Apartheid turned out to be and forgot that it was the BRITISH NATION that started apartheid, after negotiations with Tribal leaders concluded that the native, black, South Africans were unwilling to live together with the colonies?

While i don't agree with everything that you say i can't help but notice that you display more logic that most vocal
posters here.

You sound like the kind of guy one can disagree with on something yet still have a decent conversation.

ANC supporters: To keep voting for the ANC is not in the best interest of this country. We need a strong opossion party to keep them on their toes.

So next time, vote for someone else. It'll only encourage them to work harder for your vote in the future. And if they don't work harder, then screw them.

The African National Congress has won all 12 contested seats in municipal by-elections in Mpumalanga, the Free State, the North West and the Eastern Cape, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) said on Thursday.

This was particularly evident in Mpumalanga, where out of eight by-elections six were in areas that had recently experienced community demonstrations and vacancies as the result of councillor resignations.

That would just make the party a farce. Better that whoever takes the reigns of the party does so openly and clearly.

Isn't the leader of the DA youth a black gent? From what I've read he sounds pretty decent and with experiance can go far and hopefully bring those who are stuck on race into the fray.
