I will. I voted for the ANC in the first election, because I believed it was the best thing for the country. I dont regret it. They achieved a lot, initially. We had a really good economy. Human rights increased. Subsequently, however, they have failed. Badly. They have failed to deliver services to people who need it. They have failed to unite the country around nation building. You can understand the need to focus on previous disadvantaged communities and I even accepted that AA and BEE where needed. However, all AA and BEE has achieved, is non-white foreigners getting lucrative contracts and dodgy arms deals. Poor communities still suffer from lack of services. The response of the ANC to all of this has been to drive a wedge between South Africans along racial lines. This is exactly how the NATS played the country to reinforce their apartheid idealogy. Make sure that white's and blacks blame each other.

I havent voted in elections since, because the ANC have not delivered and the other parties where retards. I left SA 2 years ago and wont vote again because I have no plans on returning. In the UK election, I voted Lib Dems for the council and Labour for national elections. Not sure how I will vote this time.

Hope you didn't leave any relatives or friends behind, because they could lose there lives. But each for his own, eh. And who said philanthropy was dead? :rolleyes:

Actually we were just lamenting the ANCs appointment of Mike Sutcliffe earlier on - how on this green earth do you equate that with being anti-black? Why are you so racist and ignorant that you equate the ANC with "blacks only"?

All that said, the ANC has made huge difference in the lives of many black people. This wasn't hard to do as they had a very low base to start of. All thanks to decades of white rule that treated black people less than they did their pets. And I tell you a lot of people have not forgotten white rule and even more are afraid of it. The ANC is of course taking full advantage of this.

The whites were scared of the "swart gevaar" and blacks taking over, now the ANC is using the tactic that we must be frightened or returning to Apartheid. Ironic, isn't it how the ANC has become more and more like "the baas" every day since it took over the farm? Orwellian pigs, the lot of them: some animals are more equal than others it appears (and yes, Stalin was worse the the Tsars).

And yes I do have family here and thankfully they have never been a victim of any crime. ever. Neither have I.

I might come over for a game or 2 , my bro-in-law has procurred tickets to the Joburg quarter-final, and I do visit once a year. :D

Im actually thinking I may just vote ANC in the next elections, just to annoy you :D , oh, and of course to excercise my democratic right, not that the concept of democratic rights makes any sense to you. lol.

Some government's are astute and thrive on constructive criticism. Switzerland is one I am particularly fond of. They take being a public servant seriously.

In Africa only 1 has done that so far, - Botswana.

Anyway, just yanking your chain. I wont vote for the ANC. I still think the DA are retards. Ever since they got the NATS on board. If they hadnt I might considered them a viable alternative. Right now South Africa is up s***t creek. The DA or the ANC. What a choice.

Though I do note that any one who disagrees with your political point-of-view is "retarded". Very astute political mind you have there. But since you so eloquently put it that "South Africa is up s**t creek" it comes as no surprise you voted Labour. Fortunately for you the ANC may incompetent but due political process and some keens minds it means this country is actually no as far up that creek as the UK is right now, my little friend.

Yup I can name many black BEE entrepreneurs who have had a positive difference. Thing is most of them weren't as destitute, to begin with, as the poor masses that have been left behind. Capitalism is a dirty game and the struggle really has been forgotten, hasn't it?

I wouldn't refer to BEE as a difference.
Most of these BEE people are nett consumers of wealth instead of the nett wealth creators the country needs.
The only thing enterprising about the entrepreneurs is their ability to get connected.
