ANC or nothing

Once again your are focussing on the race of a party, instead of what they could do for the country. I feel really sorry for you.

There are many white tosspots in the ANC and we hate them too. Trust me the ANC has helped bridge the race gap by finding incompetence in every race group!

Why is the DA not a real alternative?

It should be, but in reality I don't think they will ever be able to shed the "white" label and win the hearts and minds of the black majority. The reasons are irrelevant.

Everything

I bet you this hasn't changed much, Share of National Income and Land Allocation. But yet black population is >80% and you want us to vote for DA....got to be kidding or you guys are absolutely nutters!

Us?
Is this an "Us" and "Them" debate?
Would you like to calrrify "Us" and "Them" so we can avoid any misinterpretations and or misrepresentations.

The majority of ANC's supporters will never vote DA

So what. The ANC is so scared of the DA it's funny. So either the ANC will try to crush the DA with violence, or they'll try to do it by being better than the DA.

If they go for option 2, then we might even see some service delivery taking place. Doesn't matter whether it's the ANC or the DA doing the work - as long as it gets done, we all win.

+100 000

Doesn't Tutu subscribe to the same theory?

IIRC Zapiro was left disillusioned and dumbstruck at what to do when he felt out with the great ANC recently....

I doubt it.

To be honest, I see the DA to be a far more "inclusive" party than the ANC and anything but a "White" party or it is just me that seems to look beyond the sex and skin colour and look at the actions of the individual?

Jip, you are unique, just like everybody else :p

I wholeheartedly agree, but unfortunately your and my thinking does not necessarily reflect the majority's. And the majority's thinking is to a large extent our reality.

"DA is as non-racial as it gets in this place" you must think black people are utter idiots. Give me one example where DA has supported anything black

Blacks suffered a lot under white rule in this country and now that they are voting for black party you want to call them stupid and brainless.....well I would rather be called stupid and brainless there to vote for someone who will think that an animal is better then me.

White rule ended ages ago. get over it already. Admit it, your vote is based on race and not service delivery. Voting for someone who is not delivering is about as stupid as it gets :D

Spam looking beyond sex and colour? Dude what country do you come from? Surely not SA. We have been looking at that for decades now dude.

I wouldn't call 15 years "ages ago"...
Maybe you too should admit your race based vote as does more than 90% of voters.

Actually it was about 20 years ago, ANC rule started 16 years ago though. Hey, the Nats had Apartheid up and in full swing in 16 years, but then the we have to factor in the incompetence of the ANC.

Come on, mate. If the ANC was doing a good, fair job we wouldn't even be having this discussion as 90% of voters would be happily voting ANC.

Damn straight!

And 15 years is easily a fifth of a lifetime. Granted we don't exactly live terribly long, but that's just all the more reason to do our best so that we might actually live through the positive changes.
