I thing the ANC is getting even by using other means (AA, BEE, etc). They don't have to get physical. Using force would have created an international incident. Everybody was watching.

I don't think you know what the word improvement means.

Having a president who believes a shower stops HIV is not improvement.

Having basic infrastructure falling apart (eskom, roads, water, railway, etc.) is not improvement.

Being the world leaders in HIV, murders and rapes is not an improvement.

crime=ANC because
1)the ANC hasn't been strong enough on crime,
2)disbands the scorpions so that the leader of the ANC cant be investigated
3)has tolerated corrupt police and officials so criminals get off with a bribe
4)has no service delivery so the poor remain poor- contributing to higher levels of crime

dont you think that a strong rand, good hospital cover, good schooling, competent individuals in charge of service delivery will serve your interests far greater than someone whos only qualification is that they have a black skin?

Awesome! Good for you man. Politics around the family table, you have your differences yet still vote for what you think is right. I wish this country had more families like this. Tell your parents how awesome they are. :)

I was trying to reason with some ANC YL supporters and told them about how Zille told the world, at great personal risk, about the murder of Biko. How, in 1986, she had to go with her two year-old son into hiding, for harbouring ANC operatives.

They told me to stop spreading malicious lies. Too pig headed to even read a history text book, it seems. As such there is no hope in reasoning with them.

The DA needs to get rid of zille, firstly blacks do not like females in authority and she is white.

Get a black to front the DA, a good decent oke. Blacks are never going to vote for a white female lol let alone a white party.
 
If you know anything about Helen Zille then you should know that she had a part in fighting against apartheid. So don't come here accusing the DA for be pro-white. If that were the case then they wouldn't have people of other colour in high positions within the party.

Well, that's the point, isn't it? The DA doesn't support things just because they're black. The DA supports things which it feels will uplift the country as a whole, and everyone in it.

And I hate to break it to you, but the country includes a large number of people who aren't even slightly black.

You wanted non-discrimination; the DA is giving it to you.

You may not have wanted an incompetent overclass of former liberation veterans, but that's what the ANC is giving you. Enjoy it!

Dude, you're asking to be flamed with this post. Very brave. Why somebody would post such policitally loaded post on a "Tech Forum" i don't know. Rather post your comments on an article about Julius Malema on news24.com or iafrica.com. He's about the only prat that still complains about race issues while the rest of South Africa moved on 16 years ago.

Anti-apartheid movement

Zille was heavily involved in the Black Sash movement during the 1980s. She served on the regional and national executives of the organisation, and was also vice-chair of the End Conscription Campaign in the Western Cape. During this time she was arrested for being in a "group area" without a permit, and received a suspended prison sentence. Zille and her husband later offered their home as a safe house for political activists during the 1986 State of Emergency, and she was temporarily forced into hiding with their two-year-old son.[7] She has known veteran Anti-Apartheid politician Harry Schwarz since she was a child.

Zille was also actively involved in the South Africa Beyond Apartheid Project and the Cape Town Peace Committee. She later gathered evidence for the Goldstone Commission which investigated attempts to destabilise the Western Cape before the elections in 1994.

The trouble is we will have to live with the brain dead voting for the anc because this country will go the same way zimbabwe has.

So i do worry and i do not feel sorry for the people who voted anc but i know if the anc stays in power this country is dooooooooooooomed.
