Which is still completely irrelevant, as Grayston merely threw this straw puppet in there for his own reasons. The original statement was that white people tried to massacre the blacks but were unsuccessful. I merely replied that this was nonsense, there was no attempted genocide of blacks in SA. This apparently angered Grayston who seems to have his own reasons for wanting to make whites seem evil.

Actually I was merely commenting on the irony of the ANC's aversion to anything even slightly Eurocentric (and especially British) when it was actually the Brits who tried their best to make Africa a success.

Perhaps they didn't get off to the best start, and perhaps they messed things up along the way, but as the ANC says - why only concentrate on the negative??

Anyway. TMoose - chill. It's just a forum. And it's nothing personal - I like playing devil's advocate, and I believe the Constitution gives me the right to do so -- at least until the ANC changes it! ;-)

Oh and before I forget, I saw an interesting turn of events from the past, whilst browsing the forum- you lot were especially condescending and nasty to a friend of mine, Erik Winterberg. You got him banned off the forum too, for no good reason. Just remember, your little MyBroadband empire here won't save you or protect you from the ANC. This is why this site thrives, nowhere else will it last a week...

Hope you enjoy overseas and that your life there is great, but you see, the condescending way that you ex-pats talk to us is what gets the bad reactions... not the fact that you leave.

Here's the sad thing. In 5 years SA will still be standing, and not much will have changed. None of what you said here will have come true. However, to justify your own decision to leave, you will be on here every second day telling us all how great it is there and how sorry you are for us because we live here. It will attract more negative reaction, and this will make you feel better about yourself.

i highly doubt the anc is going to close myBB. .

he most likely got banned for a reason, i am pretty straight forward and havnt been banned so he must have done something to piss someone off.

Only 9 857 expats voted? I thought about 80 000 people registered overseas to vote, what happened to the rest of the voters? Another question I have is what happened to the 800 000 people who left this country since 1994? Why didin't they register and vote?

Many weren't registered, many didnt have ID books, many didn't hear that the law changes, and many were not willing to travel the long distance to the embassy where voting was held. Not all embassies/consulates were voting stations. Oh, and many just don't give a cr*p.
