ANC - Western Cape independence!

These top senior cert. pass successes in the Cape have been consistent since 1997 (apart from 2001\2 when NP took top spot by a narrow margin).
 
Cape Independence, what is a Per Capita Education Level? and what report are you getting that from if you please? And please don't say you're getting it from the Cape Party site, because we've shown you OVER and OVER again, the "information" on that site is wrong. And yes the WC consistently has the better AVERAGE... but that again does NOT constitute the best schools, just the better average school.

Sackboy : Sorry again, you're wrong... WC has the highest percentage who passed, and the highest percentage of "learners" with endorsements. The highest number easily goes to KZN. Percentage show averages, not best...

KZN Pass - 94421 : Endorsement - 21443

Needless to say, whether it be education or or any other topic, we believe we'd be better off if we were able to govern ourselves on national level.

Let me ask you this: would you support the WC gaining autonomous status as a self-governing state within the framework of SA if her ppl so wished, or would you again say this is being racist?
 
No I'm saying the Cape Party is racist.. not anyone who believes in secession, since there are ethnic groups that have been "conquered" by neighbouring states that may deserve to have their independence back. The Cape was not "conquered", and it is not a opressed minority.

Well how about this, learn about the political system in this country
We do not have a federal system, so you can't be a "self-governing" state. So my blunt answer to your question is no I wouldn't support the WC being an "autonomous self-governing state" since it would be unconstitutional, and anyway her people would not so wish. Maybe 2550 (at last count) would wish, but that is 0.13% of the population who voted, and an even smaller percentage of the actual population of the Cape Colony so it won't happen.

No, what I'm saying is the Western cape has to educate maybe 42000 matrics a year.. in TOTAL. KZN has 149000. See the VAST difference in numbers we're talking about here?
 
Dude, your answers are boring and unorigional. You keep bringing up the vote count. The Cape Party only used this election to get a foot in the door and that we've done and more. People have told you this before and still you bring it up as justification that we dont have support. Your like a broken record, and this is how it sounds...

Ok, so now my answers are boring and unoriginal when I'm just pointing out the FACTS to you.

The only OFFICIAL number of Cape Party supporters is that 2550 who voted in the provinical elections which worked out to 0.13 percent of the total number of votes. Anything else is speculation.
 
Are you just gonna continue to cut and paste that line? We did better than alot of the smaller parties and generated alot more media coverage. That was the aim.

Ok, it was Retro's link. I was wrong on that score.

However I am not wrong on the best schools claim. 80% is the figure. It is a number in the column and it happens to be the highest out of ALL provinces. There are more pupils in KZN, so we have to refer to %.

Kzn has the highest NUMBER of scholars achieving a Senior Certificate with an endorsement.
WC has the highest percentage of scholars achieving a Senior Certificate with an endorsement.

See what I did there? Your statement is incorrect, whereas my two statements are both factually correct.

Stop nitpicking. Numbers are irrelevent unless you are discussing quality of pupil.

The fact remains that more WC pupils pass (as a percentage) than any other province.

Do you think this is a natural ability or could it be something to do with schools? (waiting for Toxic to hedge this one):p

I also wanna add something here. Independence movements, (especially in this context,) dont just spring up from nowhere. You put a lid on a pressure cooker and eventually the lid pops off.
 
And there are also always a VERY small number of people who want independence everywhere.... and most of them never get it because they have no basis for wanting independence other than just not liking the current government (which is ultimately what the Cape Party seems to be like)

And as for your childish little paraphrasing of my post... Yes I'm right because I used the english language correctly to convey two points, whereas Sackboys point was incorrect.

So youre saying the ANC government has done a good/better job for education in the cape in comparison to the rest of the country?
 
The ANC has done sweet f@#ol for the Cape but exploit it in order to secure it. We are, according to them, "confused" and "misguided." Now their ally's wish to plot a coup against our ppl and threaten to make the WC ungovernable. To HELL with those colonial bastards.

Lets apply some logic and no emotion. They have not secured the WC, they actually lost it in the last election that happened 2 months ago( and no im not gonna post a link, that it actually happened).

Their allies threaten anything that moves on a daily basis. However the mudslinging has passed and Helen has had a constructive discussion with Zuma since then.

"Colonial Bastards" - Im still confused about that one, maybe youre stuck in a different century. :confused:
