Andor

So cool how he single-handedly deals with that Empire Ship. That whole sequence was great with the flak-cannon and him interacting with his ship AI...

Also nice how the Empire never feels incompetent the way they sometimes do in the movies. They were just outmaneuvered by someone very competent who caught them by surprise.

Will watch this later on this evening! There's the small matter of 4 soccer world cup matches first!!

Been a terrific series!!!

Amazing how expectations were so high for Mandalorian and Obi-Wan, but both failed to deliver on so many levels, Obi-Wan more so than Mandalorian.

Along comes Andor, personally I had no idea what to expect but it absolutely blew it out the water!!!

If I were to score them:
Mandalorian 6
Obi-Wan 4.5
Andor 8.9

Mandalorian had some episodes that were amazing - some of my favourite tv moments in the last 5 years, but some episodes fell flat and the ending wasn't for me. Andor has been consistently good throughout. I really enjoyed this...damn that was a great ride.

PS. There's a post credit scene in the final episode. Dun dun dun - we finally see what the components were they were building in prison.

What a tease!!! But damn I enjoyed every minute of it.

I hope it was really planned as a 2 season arc because keeping up this intensity is going to be difficult and I would hate for s2 to feel dragged out.

Now to wait.

Awesome series, I enjoyed it throughout.
Great writing, and great film making.
Don't miss the post credits scene at the end of the finale episode.

Andor is the best thing Disney has made with Star Wars. By far.

I would be happy with them ret-conning Rouge One and keeping Andor alive.

Good looking out, I had missed that!

Mon Mothma throwing her family under the bus like that was very well done showing that good people sometimes have to do bad things. Her past money issues were sorted by blaming her husband's gambling and her future money issues are taken care of by her daughter's betrothal.

So many small details throughout the series which build up over time because of the fantastic writing and character development.

I mean Mandalorian was good ol space western with a cool gun-slinging cowboy as the hero.
Andor is proper grown up people doing grown up things, but set in the always cool star wars universe.
Honestly, we know what happens to Cassian in Rogue One but I wouldn't mind they somehow change that and he sees the Death Star being used, how he deals with that.
Or they just keep the series going parallel to the original trilogy. Although don't suppose you can have Andor without, well, Andor.

I really hope they don't retcon Rogue One. There is no need for that.
The only thing I will (grudgingly) accept is that Andor somehow survives at the end of Rogue One...
I dunno.... maybe a ship swoops down and plucks them up at the last minute.

I don't know the chronology of things but I sort of hope Vader has no part in season 2. Would prefer the death Star being developed by some other department (ISB etc) in the empire, even just at his request will be ok. I prefer these Star Wars things without the big names, partly why I didn't care for Skywalker in Mandalorian.
