Android App requests / Looking for an app that does X - thread

Thanks but not what I'm looking for.
The problem I'm having with my Wifi on my SGS2 is that when I switch the Wi-Fi on, it does not come on, but the icon goes partially green. Now it won't switch off! So I have to reboot!

I've tried going into settings and switching Wifi on there, but have the same problem.

So I'm looking for an app that will switch Wifi on or off without me having to reboot everytime.

Sounds like a problem with your s2. I never had that issue with mine. Perhaps a factory reset is in order?

Yeah, are you running a stock ROM on your S2? This does sound like a problem.

I had this issue on my S2 as well. Re-installed firmware didn't help, so i figured it was a hardware problem, something to do with a leaking capacitor near the wifi and network chip.

I then left the phone off for about 2 weeks and when I charged and started it up again I never had the problem again. However I don't use the phone daily so that might be why i havent noticed the problem

Does anyone have a very good suggestion for a photo collage / photo editing app? Free, preferably?

Does anyone know of an app on iOS that is similar to the News+ (combines Google News and RSS reeder) app? I know this is an iOS question, but just pointing it to someone who has good experience with both platforms in this regard.

Pixlr Express for editing.
Photo Grid for collage.

Not sure if free, I've never paid for an app.

What is that Android app again that allows you to use your laptops and extra other Android devices, to create cameras at home whilst your away?

Someone recently posted about an app that does this, but only for Android devices (not laptops as well)....

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 but don't like the qwerty keyboard that it comes with, is Swiftkey the only other keyboard app there is? I have searched the free sections in the app story and the trial version ia the only one I found so far but have not downloaded it yet.

Once you get used to SwiftKey, you won't want to use any other keyboard ever again!

If you are looking for free apps have a look at:
Google Keyboard
TouchPal X Keyboard

Looking for something to flip around the screen colours so that it shows white on black rather than black on white. I'm hoping this might help battery life?

After the recent permission changes I started to skip Touchpal, well that and the notification intrusions. Was good while it lasted but I am sorry, not anymore.

Using Swiftkey now (Thanx to Amazon free app of the day some time back)

Its a pain getting use to it and not as efficient at picking up my writing style as Touchpal was. Still beats chicken tapping.

Notification instructions?
Wasn't aware of the permission changes. Using paid SwiftKey.

I saw a beta version of a battery wallpaper on the XDA site but the security settings on my tab would not allow the download, is it wise to allow a download from that site?

No, the dam app kept on popping up with info and updates so I said bye bye.

Also using paid Swiftkey, was free for a day over at Amazon during the Greatest hits sale

I would vote yes, but only after I saw the comments and permissions the app needs. ie: if a battery app wants dialer prems its a hell no :D
