Of course there is a solution... you cannot ONLY sync to google accounts. The My Contacts app you suggested in theory does exactly what I want it to do, but the sync doesn't actually sync, and the web interface is a dog's breakfast.
 
I see a few in the play store, but to save me trying them all out, can anyone recommend a business card scanner?
 
I'm looking for a needle in a haystack.
Many years ago, I got the best financial/scientific calculator ever. an HP-27S, that I've now had since 1988!! & I still use it every day.
There is a version, Go27S available for Android, but it says it needs a HP-27S ROM to work.

Any help out there?
By the way, there is a financial only version, HP-17BII emulator for PC's that I'm using as my desktop calc.

I'm looking for an app that shows your daily screen-on time in a widget.

Similar to what you can see in the Android settings, but in a widget.

Anyone?
 
Hi all. Looking for an app that can sync files and folders on my s7 edge to my sd card and then delete the files/folders from the phone. Similar to what goodsync does on pc. Any ideas?
 
Im looking for a widget that can display my stocks and only my stocks. Does not have to be anything fancy.

If I add my stocks to Google cards it only displays 1 of the stocks on the widget.
 
I haven't played around with it in a while but if you are rooted you can use Titanium backup to create jobs that might be able to do this for you. Its a really powerful app but with such power comes a great need for ROOT access and the associated responsibility

I have seen something like that before but can't recall where it was

I'm sure that's possible but t you may need to have a rooted device.

It's one of the perks of Youtube Red. Video turns to audio when you minimise the app, like a music player. Very handy.

this used to work for me in Firefox until the other day. seems they have blocked it now.

I now use this to save the video as audio and listen to it with another app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.at.newpipe
 
Is it just me or have android and/or samsung totally given up on making a functional widget for clock and weather that deliver the basics?

I had to download a widget to simply display the time in a digital form on my homescreen on my Huawei, now on my s7 edge, I tried to see what the weather was like at home and it has no facility to check the weather anywhere other than your current location.

So, bearing in mind the thread title, can someone recommend a weather widget that can give me the weather in a few locations by swiping it between places.
