Definitely, the Galaxy S has those super-saturated colours.
I don't see what the argument is over specs, which phone has better specs than the iPhone 4?

What makes apple good is how much hype it can generate. Personally I prefer Andriod because when all the hype is finished I really don't want to send lots of money on something that isnt just what I wanted, and being controlled to death isnt cool to me. That being said I'm really enjoying the N8 ,even thought Symbian is so average, for the simple reason of it's music player (improved over apples but very very similar) and that I can play most video formats without converting needed

You can't judge an OS on a low end phone running it. That's like saying windows 7 is crap because it's slow as hell on your PII when OSX runs way better on the latest mac.
Please, there was like 1 proof of concept virus article about Android. I have never heard of anyone getting a virus on any phone, ever. Yes it's more possible, probably because android can actually multi-task and secondly because the apps can actually do stuff with the phone interface etc. iOS apps run in a little sandbox and can hardly do anything.

Actually being first with something does deserve some credit, but making something it accessible to everyone adds more value. (Mercedes was first but Ford made it accessible).

99% of that article was about how bad Apple is. Clearly a one sided opinion!!
I have had iPhone's since the first iPhone, and have jailbroken them ever since. Not once have i felt restricted. As i can download apps that have not been "approved" by Apple, and that includes awesome apps for SNES etc.
With a Jailbroken iPhone you are only limited by yourself. There is also Third Party tools for coding your own aps, that don't require you to have a Mac.
So do a little research!!
Sorry, but I am a bit of an Apple Fanboy. GREAT Design, GREAT OS, Limitations....I have yet to find any!
And Yeah this entire post might be 99.99% about how awesome Apple is, but that's cause i have never owned and android device, yes i have used one MANY times, but i know they are sub par. Sure lots of potential, but a 2 slices of bread has lots of potential, i'd rather just have the sandwich.

There are valid reasons the iPad is so popular. There are also valid reasons Android is the fastest-growing OS and set to overtake iOS. Apple pioneered the market. Google are coming from behind, and overtaking. They're both good. We'll all benefit from the increased competition. That's all you need to know ... I can't get myself too worked up over any more details than that.

Next week Monday im getting my contract upgraded, I have the choice between an Iphone 4, or an Android device (Which one, if droiding?) from MTN.
I like listening to podcasts, keep updated weekly. I LOVE games, GAAAMZZZ!!! Game Dev Story, and Plants vs Zombies etc, any cool games, all cool games! I dont care for the camera feature, nor the video, I don't watch any videos either.
Which one should I get?

Correct! However, i doubt there will be any over taking anytime soon. altho they got more than one iOS device. they are the only ones that do. I don't think that the +-10 different device builders that use android will ever make as much as Apple as single entities with their devices. Apple is a POWER house of Cashflow, cashflow that furthers research into better devices. Maybe collectively as a whole Android may take over.

I hate to say it but for games you kinda have to go Iphone unless you are comfortable rooting your phone and enabling paid apps.

Well said. Except for the Ford thing. Benz was the first. Ford just mass produced them, and somehow convinced people that they invented something completely new. The iPhags will usually ignore those limitations you mentioned and any discussion thereof completely, and try to convince you (and probably themselves) that it's awesome to pay twice as much and be told what you can do with a device you supposedly own. After exploding with blazing iRAGE that is.
At least some are good for a laugh. Some guy at work told me last week how awesome his uncle's iPad was, and that you could like OMG totally see the stars on it and move it around and they move too. I said, what, you mean like Google Sky Maps? He didn't even know what I was talking about...

Android would exist, it would look more like blackberry and not so iPhone like.
Get an iPhone. I just got Dead space for iPhone. It's amazing! Then again, the iPod Touch 4th generation is basically almost as good, and a third of the price!

Haha classic. See, buckets o' laughs these guys are. You'd think that with their awesome, totally superior phones, they could fire up Wikipedia and see that Google bought Android, which was already in development, in 2005, while the iphone only came out in 2007. Not that it matters in any way though. And not that they need to of course, they know everything already after all.

...id realy like to see Apple Fanbois replies being counter facts based on features....not stupid comments like 'just because you cant afford the ipad its not our problem'. Tell us what makes the iPad better the Android thats all....
