Android Eskom load shedding app

Sucks that the app is getting negative votes because its "not accurate"...well if the schedules are wrong then obviously it won't work.

I just wish they could come up with proper schedules for the whole country. Schedules they implement and strictly stick to.

This app has no value at all without it. Not even with crowdsourcing.

I do not want to be at home, zoooooooooop - the power goes off and then comes the notification that power is off. The app basically just telling me what I already know. Then, the power comes back on and another notification thereof, just stating what I already know.

Stupid Eskom and stupid municipalities.

Yea but nice to see when I'm at the office my house is dead so I go out rather.

Is the app now sending out schedules beforehand...? I received a notification that we are supposed to have load shedding from 8pm tonight.

Great app, still testing, doesn't seem to use my GPS (though I have it enabled) and Settings -> Location doesn't show that the application requested location?

I've done the task of writing down when the power goes off and on and using that to work out the block I'm in, I'd still like to work out if there's a street address -> substation/block database somewhere?

Since toad shredding doesn't always happen on time, I am not 100% certain the block I think I fall under is correct.
