Android Eskom load shedding app

Hey Guys,

Spent the last 3 days and made an Eskom load shedding app. You can select your area (I have aggregated some of them for now) and receive notifications for load shedding in areas. Made it for me so it should be useful for you

Nice app but I'm not giving identity or location data to an app when a drop down with network only permissions would suffice.

Not a dig at your app but security conscious people like me prefer single function programs.

Ignore the critics. This is a why-didn't-I-think-of-it-app.(Probably because I dislike Eclipse)

Does it handle non Eskom managed suppliers, eg Cape Town Municipality?

I see you didn't use their logos - good thing, that. I know they went FUBAR on a guy that used their logos without permission a few years ago.

Does it handle non Eskom managed suppliers, eg Cape Town Municipality?

It's the Eskom schedule so I doubt it is 100% accurate. Each muni does seem to have it's own schedule tho.

GPS allows us to suggest areas closest to you.

I actually use the privacy guard on Cyanogenmod for all installed apps on my phone.
