Ever wondered who gave Google the right to just update your apps wherever and whenever, and by eating into your valuable data? Well, you probably did.

But the good news is, you can stop them from doing it in the future. Just follow these steps:

1. Open Play Store
2. Press the 'Menu' key. On a Samsung this is the touch button to the left of the centre 'Home' button.
3. Select 'Settings'
4. Under the 'General' section, there should be an option that reads 'Auto-update apps'. Select it.
5. You'll be given 3 options:
5.1. Do not auto-update apps
5.2. Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply.
5.3. Autoupdate apps over Wi-Fi only

Pick the appropriate one that fits your pocket and data plan.

Hope this helps :)
