lol... its all tongue in cheek kilo, always, the world is a waaay to serious place...

Unfortunately no iphone serenading for me.

I'm in love with my NOTE.

If or rather when I get get mugged, an iphone is useless :) my Note is a missile - big and heavy, like a .45 - a spinning note on the head will sort the story out like a .45

Actually it is a tad refreshing seeing a non-god-brick song of undying devotion!

There is hope!

EDIT: It would take more than a couple of bottles of whiskey before I even could remotely fall for my phone's flittering eyelids... by that time, I would definitely be in need of that thread!

I agree, the iSHEEP folks cant understand that there is something else, besides an iPhone that drives us crazy

my original post was done very much tongue in cheek - there was no need to mention the drunkard thead - i suppose its all the iSheep iDIOTS can do...

the Note is the best

Umm... if your phone-love makes you sound like you have been drinking... then perhaps the drunk thread might be appropriate. Some people drink to write stuff like that, another may paw his phone. :p

iSheep iDIOTS ?? You been hanging out with Dean Peppler ? :wtf: What are you on about ?

I am so tired of hearing about the Note size all over the place.

What most of the complainers don't get about the device we now carry around, is that the primary function is not a phone anymore.

Calculate how many minutes you fiddle with your phone during a day - what percentage is talking on the phone, and how much time is spent web surfing, email, sms, IM, notifications, music, video, games, photos, camera, ebooks, GPS, maps, hotspots, apps and more !!

That is why a BIG screen makes sense

NOTE lover ;-)

hi Sparkz0629

the note is the most stunning phone today, its NOT big, its the perfect size.

i felt the same as you do - thanks to family and friends.

That is, till i got my Note. NOW...

My family wont leave me alone, they all want it, my friends laughed at me, till they held it and used it - after that - they all want my SG NOTE - they love the size, screen and speed.

Please report back when you get your note. before i forget, your family and friends will want your note I PROMISE

There is only one thing about the SG Note I want - vanilla ICS - Samsung - please give us vanilla ICS - i've rooted and loaded about 4 custom ics roms, i want a vanilla ics rom from YOU SAMSUNG, do that for that Note and you will sell 20+ million NOTES.

L8

hmmm

maybe troll some other thread, this thread IS about how I feel about my Note and what a fantastic mobile device it is

its not about YOU insulting me and telling me my thread belongs in the "drunk" thread. i'm not going to lower myself to cheap and common insults anymore.

kilo, please - /ignore this thread,
thanks

You hit the nail on the head Nick. When I had my Galaxy S2 I flashed a kernel that was not compatible with the vodacom network and rendered the phone useless. Data and WiFi still hundreds though. It took me just over a week to realise the phone was not working when my wife started complaining that it was always engaged :) :)

I see the phone function as a bonus add-on.

Edit: I am running the imilka v0.1 CM9 ROM. It is fantastic. Used all the ICS ROMs so far and this one by far the best. Daily driver. About to upgrade to v0.2.

Very interesting to read everyones comments on the Note. I'm due for an upgrade today and have been contemplating whether I should get one or not. I am currently using a S2 and I love it very much.

Personally I find the size of the S2 perfect. I can put it onto my pocket with ease and navigate around the screen with one hand. There is really only one thing that I like about the Note and that's the size of the screen.

I basically also use my phone mainly for downloading and watching videos, sending emails and to tether internet to my laptop or PS3 and very rarely use my phone to make calls.

I will probably swing by the local cell shop today after work and see what offerings they have on the Note.

The Note is so worth it dude. I also had the S2 before the Note. For the first week or so that I had the Note I was seriously debating going back to the S2 purely cause it felt so big. When that week was over I was used to the size and never looked back.

Just holding one is not enough. You need to have it in your possession for a bit and get used to it.
