No cloud, no sync.

Anyone here who has working knowledge of Android sync, please share your experience. I am considering mOffice, Android-Sync or Syncables360.

I function outside of cellular coverage or landline availability. The need is for a wireless, USB or Bluetooth sync capability between laptop, phone and/or tablet.

What have you found to be working the best?

Which phone to sync?

Let me explain:

I will be starting a new, small consulting firm in 2013. We will be working in remote places. I still need to buy laptops and phones, so now is the time for some due diligence and for laying the right foundation.

Windows8, if it can run the various sync apps, or otherwise either Linux Mint or Ubuntu.

Phone: the jury is still out on that but I was considering either JCB Smartphone on Android 2.3 or Razr Maxx. Both are tough enough for life in the deserts and rainforests.
I also did look at Galaxy S2, Galaxy Nexus and even Lumia, although the latter is a Windows phone. I can still mix and match, as long as sync is via cable, Bluetooth or OTA directly between devices. No cloud as there is little or no coverage.

When I drive to a spot with a weak signal, at least, I want my systems to be up to date already. Mostly, GSM there is only good for sms or 'random' email.
